First Demo Tour at CAIDAS!

21 Sep 2023

On September 21, Prof. Anthony Steed delivered a keynote at the ACM International Conference on Intelligent Virtual Agents in Würzburg. During the conference, Prof. Anthony Steed visited three HCI research demos: “The Virtual Maze: a Tool for Measuring Trust towards Virtual Humans”, “Posture Parameters for Personality-Enhanced Virtual Audiences,” and “Towards Virtual Audience Simulation For Speech Therapy.” Additional details are available here.

On the same day, the HCI Chair welcomed Prof. Anthony Steed and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kopp to our new location, the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. After an introduction to each demo by Prof. Dr. Marc Erich Latoschik, the presenters showcased the demos to the visitors. We presented six research demos in our new labs, including Reality Stack I/O (from the Reality Stack Project), Social XR Collaboration Platform (from the ViLeArn Project), Resize Me! (from the ViTraS Project), Talking to ChatGPT (from the AIL AT WORK Project), Virtually Me (from the PriMa Project), and Multi-User Markerless Avatar System (from the HiAvA Project).
