Wassermühle VR

Overview

In cooperation with the Franconian open air museum in Bad Windsheim, we developed a virtual version of a medieval watermill. This virtual environment targets the learning about the life of people who lived in the Middle Ages in general and the life of a medieval miller in particular.

A first version of the application allows users to experience the necessary steps to create flour in a mill. In a second step, this version will receive further contents and objectives to relieve the life of a miller.

The application is developed with Unity and both an immersive VR version using SteamVR as well as a non-immersive desktop version are available.
