Bernd Sibler visited HCI

03 Jun 2020

Science Minister Bernd Sibler visits the AI hub “Center for Artificial Intelligence Data Science” (CAIDAS) in Würzburg.

CAIDAS combines methods of data science and related AI areas with fields of application in science, economy and society. The centre is divided into three main areas: “Fundamentals of Data Science and Machine Learning”, “Human Centered AI and Data Science” at the interface between man and machine, and “Data Science for Research” with implications for the humanities, social, natural and life sciences, medicine and areas of engineering.

At his visit the minister was scanned with the body scanner (photogrammetry scanner) of our innovation lab to have his avatar ready for a live demonstration at the following meeting at the Senatssaal of the University of Würzburg, where the minister attended.
