VIA-VR: Rehabilitation Demonstration

This project is already completed.

Background

Stroke survivors are often required to perform repetitive tasks towards the rehabilitation for the functional recovery of the motor impairments. The intention here is to design and develop a VR application to motivate the patients to do these repetitive tasks. The outcome has to align with the use cases of the VIA-VR project.

Tasks

  1. Design a story for gait rehabilitation
  2. Design different difficulty levels
  3. Using the application should increase user’s motivation to perform repetative tasks
  4. Provide user’s performance summary after usage
