GEtiT: Enhancing the Training Game's Functionality
This project is already completed.
Background
GEtiT, the Gamified Training Environment for Affine Transformations, is a demonstrator for the Gamified Knowledge Encoding that directly encodes abstract knowledge in game mechanics for the purpose of an optimal transfer-oriented knowledge training. GEtiT achieves an intuitive training of affine transformations in an engaging 3D environment and helps learners to develop an in-depth understanding of this complex learning content.
Tasks
This project aims at the further improvement of GEtiT by implementing:
- A function to display the used solutions of a particular level as a mathematical equation.
- A challenge mode that provides a challenge for advanced learners who like to put their skills to a test.
- A level editor allowing for the creation of new levels.
Prerequisites
- Experience with unity
- In-depth understanding of affine transformations
