Overview
The project aims is the continuation of the UDK Pit Project [see video here] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2p4_DTJ_ss) using the UnrealMe Project [see video here] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DE0g2mGAMZ0) and project description here
Task
-
Improve and make a portable version of the current UDK PIT Demo
- By extending UnrealMe Framework
- with new Tracking/Display Systems (Kinect 2, STEM,Oculus 2)
- and for Faster installation/calibration
- Better Avatar(s), Environment and Task
- Evaluation (future thesis)
Requirements
- UnrealMe framework provided
- Oculus Rift provided
- Oculus-ready UDK provided
- Motion tracking system (Kinect, Optitrack, IoTracker, Vicon…) provided
- Interaktiv Computer Graphics module preferred
- Games Developing module preferred
- Good understanding and experience of object-oriented programming (Java and/or C++)
- Previous experience with UDK and Unrealscript preferred
- Games Programming knowledge and experience preferred
- Knowledge of 3D user interfaces preferred
- Notion of 3D modelling and character animations preferred.
- Solid organisation skills and team player necessary.
- High motivation to develop novel type of VR application and interfaces.
