About me
Jonas studied Media Informatics (B.Sc., M.Sc.) at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Dresden. Currently he is working in the BMBF research group ‘Urban History in 4 Dimensions - Research and Discover’ (HistStadt4D).
Projects
HistStadt4D: 'Multimodal access to historic image repositories to support the research and communication of city and architectural history' is a BMBF-funded junior scientist group. The research group investigates and develops methodical and technological approaches in order to merge, structure and annotate images in media repositories and additional information related to their place and time.
The project HistKI aims to explore the support and modelling of image source research and criticism as a complex and fundamental historical-scientific working technique through multimodal AI-based procedures.
