About me

Janna Elghabaty is a dynamic research assistant with a passion for immersive technology and human-computer interaction. She earned her Master’s degree in Informatics: Games Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, where her thesis “Superhuman Sports in VR using Haptic Feedback” highlighted her work at the intersection of virtual reality and haptics.

Her studies included courses such as Computer Graphics and Visualization, Augmented Reality, and 3D User Interface, building on a strong foundation from her Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering at the German University in Cairo with courses in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction.

In her professional journey, Janna gained hands-on experience as a Virtual Reality Developer at Siemens, further refining her expertise in digital interaction. Her current research interests focus on exploring innovative immersive experiences, optimizing user engagement, and integrating emerging computational techniques to enhance digital ecosystems.
