Abstract
This demo shows research on the illusion of virtual body ownership in immersive virtual environments. Users are fully immersed in an virtual environment. By tracking their movement in our motion capture system, users are digitally represented as avatars making the same movements as them.
User Instructions
Demo users wear a motion capture suit equipped with joint markers. They enter the tracking area and wear a head-mounted display. When moving around the virtual room they see themselves as humanoid avatars. Different factors can be modified.
