Information Event Introduces New Elite Degree Program EET4STEM

On 18 June 2026, the information event for the new degree program EET4STEM – Emerging Educational Technologies in STEM took place in S1. The program is part of the Elite Network of Bavaria and is scheduled to start in the upcoming winter semester.

EET4STEM brings together perspectives from educational technologies, artificial intelligence, STEM education, and computer science. The program aims to prepare students to design, develop, and apply emerging technologies in educational contexts.

The event began with an information session for prospective students. Participants received an overview of the study program, the application process, and the professors and teaching staff involved in the program.

Afterwards, participants had the opportunity to explore a demo session featuring several educational technology applications from school-related contexts.

The Chair of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and the Professorship for Psychology of Intelligent Systems (PIS) contribute important expertise to EET4STEM. Their involvement strengthens the human-centered, interactive, and psychological perspectives of the program, especially regarding the design, evaluation, and responsible use of intelligent educational technologies.

Applications for EET4STEM are currently open until 15 July 2026.
