XR Hub at XR Day

The XR Hub participated in the XR Day on July, 8th 2025 at the IHK building in Nuremberg. The Event was opened by the Bavarian Minister of Digital Affairs, Dr. Fabian Mehring and featured a keynote under the title “Is VR dead, what will be the future?”. 11 local XR projects presented their work in two-minute pitches. The XR Hub Würzburg exhibited an application showcasing the use of embodied AI in a VR application for the treatment of acrophobia, i.e., fear of heights.

The XR Day was a full success and we thank our partners from the XR Hub Nuremberg for the great organization and the opportunity to form valuable connections! As she will sadly leave the XR Hub Nuremberg, we especially want to thank Magdalena Bienefeld for the great cooperation and wish her all the best at her new job.
