AIL AT WORK @ denkbares Networking Day

05 Jun 2025

On June 5, 2025, the „denkbares Networking Day“ took place in Würzburg, where renowned representatives of the economy were able to exchange ideas with scientists and discuss a wide range of topics on artificial intelligence. Julia Wienkop, Janis Rösser, Philipp Krop, Florian Kern, Dr. David Obremski, and Prof.in Carolin Wienrich from the AIL AT WORK team showed three VR demonstrators, two questionnaires to assess AI literacy, and training material to improve it.

In the demonstrator “Your CoWorker ChatGPT”, participants were able to experience what it would feel like if ChatGPT had a body and were present in the same office. In “AI-assisted robot arm repair”, they were also able to experience how robot arm repair could be simplified in the future with the help of embodied AI. Furthermore, in “AI in the operating room”, participants were able to see how different levels of AI autonomy influence how much they trust and accept an AI’s advice in a clinical setting. Finally, participants were able to assess their AI literacy using either the “Meta AI Literacy Scale” and the “AI Competency Objective Scale”, and deepen their knowledge with appealing learning materials.

The event was a great success, sparking stimulating discussions on the role of embodied AI in the current and future world of work.
