Presentations at the 32nd IEEE VR 2025

24 Mar 2025

The 32nd IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR 2025) took place from March 8th to 12th in Saint-Malo, France. With a total of 785 submissions and an acceptance rate of 26.9%, IEEE VR continues to be one of the most competitive and impactful conferences in the field of XR.

The HCI and PIIS groups contributed 11 publications to this year’s program, including journal articles, conference papers, and workshop contributions. We are proud to share that:

• Jonathan Tschanter received the Best Workshop Paper Award • Marie Fiedler received an Honorable Mention Best Paper Award • Lena Holderrieth won the Best Poster Award

Our contributions covered a wide range of topics including XR-based psychotherapy, embodiment and body perception, harassment in social VR, and large language models for embodied agents.

We thank the organizers and the community for an inspiring conference and fruitful discussions. We’re already looking forward to IEEE VR 2026!
