Teaching and learning in the metaverse
XR technologies open up a wide range of new possibilities for teaching and learning. Gamification, avatars, virtual agents or artificial intelligence are just a few of the diverse concepts that define an extensive design space for the design of digital immersive teaching/learning environments.
The talk gave an insight into ongoing topic-related projects at the Chair of Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Würzburg with a special focus on training and learning environments in social VR and the various psychological and technical determinants of such approaches.
