Best Paper Award at ICMI 22

Auf der 24ten ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction in Bengaluru, Indien, stellte David Obremski das Paper ‘Exploratory Study on the Perception of Intelligent Virtual Agents With Non-Native Accents Using Synthetic and Natural Speech in German’ vor. Das Paper evaluiert, inwiefern synthetisch generierter nicht-muttersprachlicher Akzent in der deutschen Sprache genutzt werden kann, um den Eindruck eines gemischt-kulturellen Intelligenten Virtuellen Agenten zu erzeugen. Das Paper wurde auf der Konferenz mit dem Best Paper Award ausgezeichnet.

At the 24th ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction in Bengaluru, India, David Obremski presented the paper ‘Exploratory Study on the Perception of Intelligent Virtual Agents With Non-Native Accents Using Synthetic and Natural Speech in German’. The paper evaluates to what extent synthetically generated non-native accents in German can be used to create the impression of a mixed-cultural Intelligent Virtual Agent. The paper was awarded the Best Paper Award at the conference.
