HiAvA - Scalable Hybrid Avatar-Agents-Technology for Everyday Social Interaction in XR
Overview
HiAvA enables a leap in quality for diverse cooperative and communicative XR environments of a future cyberspace and allows the everyday participation in social VR applications even with limited hardware equipment.
HiAvA overcomes the significant shortcomings of existing solutions in terms of scalability, reproduction quality and comfort by providing new and innovative technical solutions that significantly surpass the current state of the art and enable a higher level of interaction quality and immersion. The project will develop contactless tracking solutions for bodies and faces, with special attention to worn hardware. HiAvA will enable participation in the XR environment by supporting stationary as well as mobile non-VR-dedicated devices.
